Kyiv: Day 2 (10/1/19)

My AirBnB for the next few days is a tiny room in a small apartment in a massive concrete housing complex on the outskirts of Kyiv. My host, Kateryna, is very quiet and almost never leaves her room when she is home, but that’s OK by me - I need a break from people after two whole days of constant socializing with my tour group. The kitchen is pretty sparse but functions for basic stuff like stirfry or eggs, so today I went to the store, bought food and water for a couple days and relaxed. Also they have fresh garlic bread at the grocery for like $0.50 USD, which you better believe I took advantage of in the extreme!
