Venice: Day 3 (8/24/19)

Today, I chilled. Slept 12 hours, rolled out of bed at 9am and gorged myself upon fruit. Drew up my travel plans for Switzerland and worked on getting my blog into the format I want. For lunch I went out to the store, got pesto supplies, and made enough pesto to supply an absurd amount of pasta. Upon my return to my room I met my three new roommates, Calipso, Elija, and another girl I didn’t catch the name of. The girls seem like partiers but I don’t have a read on Elija.

For diner I made more noodles and prepped pesto for lunch tomorrow as well. Sat next to a mom and her son from Australia while I ate and we chatted for a few minutes. The mom was outgoing and very engaged in the conversation but the son, who apparently is fresh out of highschool, was very reserved. Tomorrow I’m gonna explore the northern section of Venice and get my gelato game on!
