Zagreb to Thessaloniki (10/14/19)
My flight the Thessaloniki was scheduled for 9am this morning, so I caught a train to a bus station, stuck my head in a McDonalds to ask where the station was, and got on the bus to the airport. My flight was no issue, but to save money I booked a flight with a 7 hour layover in Istanbul which was not a great idea in hindsight.
I had planned to get some work done while waiting for my flight, but the airport only offered 2 hours of free wifi beofre charging $15 an hour which i was NOT about to pay. SO I mostly chrunched through my book and some Netflix until 7pm when I caught ym flight. Landed around 8:30pm lacal time and two buses later I was at the Arch of Galerius at 11:00. A few minutes walk and a little miscommunication go me to my AirBnB where checked in with on of my hosts Eleftheria (I can pronounce it but not sure how its spelled) before passing out in my room for 10 hours.
