Nuremberg: Day 3 (9/07/19)
Zoo Day!!!! Visiting the zoo was on my list of things to do in Nuremberg since I arrived so I was super excited to go see some cute animals! I had a pleasant walk over through a little morning sprinkle that took me about 45 minutes and followed several wooded back-roads that were quite scenic.
Fantastic zoo! It was busy but not as crazed as I thought it was going to be on a Saturday afternoon. They had everything here! I got to see tons of stuff: giraffes, ostriches, prairie dogs, fish, dolfins, deer, lizards, beetles, gazelle, antelope, zebra, cranes, camels, kulan, polar bears, penguins, a red panda (ahhh cute!!!), cultures, owls, tapirs (they make some adorable honks that stole my heart), lynx, lions, ibex, hell even two manatee! It was perfect animal madness for the whole day, everything I could have hoped for! I also had a Wizards Unite field day fighting dragons and using it like a map for finding places of interest throughout the grounds.
Overall, I had a really good day that made me feel like a kid running around without a care in the world. A great activity for my last day here!
